Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve的点评
点评：In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have got out of the car here.
Signage said that the dam wall was closed to walking due to crocs but we got out to go onto the viewing platforms, which wasn't a smart thing to do we realised later. Should a croc decide to come onto the platform, we'd have nowhere to escape to.
It's a very pretty area with all the waterlily pads and flowers on the water but you need to keep in mind that that body of water probably contains crocodiles.
We also noticed there was a croc trap with stinking rotting meat inside, situated in the water just next to the viewing platform! That was enough for us, we scampered back to the safety of our vehicle and decided it was time to leave and best to take photos from the car.
We later saw footage posted of a huge croc coming out of the waterlilies to cross the road to the marsh area. Frightening. Heed the warnings peeps.
