点评：Great trip. We arrived at approximately 3:30 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the house. After paying the admission fee, we began to explore the site. There was an interpretive guide inside the house that gave us a guided tour of the building. The tour guide started off the tour by giving us an overview of Ulysses S. Grants time in the house and his contributions in the Civil War. The guide then took us from room to room, pointing out interesting features and showing us various artifacts out for display. There were several informational plaques located throughout the house that provided some additional insight about Grants time in the Civil War. There was even a talking wax figure in one of the rooms that reenacted a short skit. The tour guide was friendly and open to answering any questions that we may have had. The guided tour lasted roughly 1 hour. There was a small gift shift located at the entrance of the house.
Tip: I recommend spending 1.5 hour here if you truly want to see everything.
