点评：We visited today as a last minute end of the festive holidays treat before we all go back to work & school on Monday.
Both our children (8&9) really love animals, but the eldest is very much into his reptiles at the moment & the last time we visited here he was only about 4, so can’t remember it.
It’s small & you could be round it in no time, but we spent a good couple hours there as my kids wanted to read all the info & spot all the creatures. My son saw there was a handling session, so we booked in for that - That was only £5 for all four of us, so really decent priced!
The handling session was great. The boy who was showing us was really knowledgable & great with the adults & kids of all ages. My son was probably the oldest kid there & he mentioned that there was a snake in the main bit that he wasn’t able to find in its tank, so the boy told him to wait after the session at the tank & he’d bring the snake out to show him & he did which was really cool of the guy! My wee boy was so chuffed! We’re now looking into the zookeeper experience for the kids there in a few weeks for my son’s 10th birthday!
I think we spent £29 all in & spent maybe 2/2.5hrs there? Can’t really complain with that! You can go out & in all day after you pay the admission, so we’ll definitely be back in the summer once the main park is open too.
