Aareschlucht的点评
点评：Aare Gorge is a captivating natural wonder were the Aare river has carved a deep, narrow chasm through limestone cliffs. It is extremely beautiful with towering walls upto 50 meters high and narrowing to one meter at the tightest point. One can traverse the gorge via series of wooden walkways and tunnels, which makes it a memorable experience. The best part is that, this is not one of the crowded tourist location in switzerland and one can enjoy the place peacefully.
To reach the place from lucerne, we first took the luzern-interlaken express to meiringen, from there we took Meringen-Innerkirchen railway to aareschlucht west station. We exited form other side and took return train from aareschlucht ost station.
One would require around one and half hour to explore the place and walk through the gorge. The other nearby attractions are Reichenbach falls and Sherlock homes museum.
