Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery的点评
点评：We upgraded to the luxury pool room.
- On arrival to check in, the place was all locked up with no staff present. Called the number, no answer.
Finally found the wedding planner, after a few phone calls we were let into our room.
We were told there was a family emergency. And other members of staff had to also leave.
- The pool room has its own garden, pool and hot tub. We are more than understanding that we arrived early spring. But the space felt shabby and uncared for. And in need of some tlc.
- The room was far from luxury as described on the website. A converted shed. Basic decor and furniture.
- cobwebs on the walls and in the ceiling beams.
- the robes (see photos) were ready for the bin.
- A small cupboard housed a hoover that appeared it had never been emptied.
- Just disappointing.
- We raised this to be told; the garden would be having maintenance the week after our stay. Cobwebs are to be expected due to the style of accommodation. Robes would be reviewed. And they would label the hoover- not for guest use. (Not simply empty it and give it a clean).
- After pushing further we got a £20 gift card for their online shop. Poor goodwill in my option considering the cost of the stay and experience.
