Handful of good shops
Eastgate Shopping Centre的点评
点评：As a (now ex) Gloucester local I have been to Eastgate shopping centre a lot over the years. The range of shops isn’t too bad although many have changed and closed over time (I really miss the big clock with the Beatrix Potter characters that moved and made noises on the hour D-:). Boswells is a good café spot me and some family members have been at occasionally for a quick bite to eat with a good range of food and drink options. My favourite shops are some of the independent ones in the market such as Roomo Lou, Planet All Stars and the Dark Corner who‘s owners are always happy to have a chat with me and they all sell some really lovely products. Vinyl Vital Signs is a fairly decent record shop which used to be in the market but is now situated in one of the main store fronts, the owner introduced me to what is now one of my favourite bands in early 2020 as we discussed having tickets to a similar band in concert. Unfortunately since moving into the main shopping area I never have that sort of interaction there now which has lead me to opt to visit some other record shops in other areas of Gloucestershire. Overall it’s a shopping centre you’ll probably only spend 30-40 minutes maximum in and there are arguably better shops on Eastgate street itself, there are a decent range of both mainstream and independent shops with a massively varying quality of services.
