点评：We are experienced, international travelers; even so, our recent 12-day tour of Morocco with Travel Exploration Morocco exceeded our expectations.
I had considered a small group tour because of their lesser costs but am very happy that we chose to go with a private tour, leading to a very different and far more enriching experience. Our guides were strictly focused on us and our interests, stopping and proceeding as we wished. I cannot imagine following a guide and tour group in single file through the narrow medina alleys. We had the opportunity throughout the tour to make spontaneous changes to routes and events which we did frequently.
Alecia Cohen, Travel Exploration’s organizer, operates from a personally vetted program of 4-and-5 star hotels, riads, and restaurants, looping around the primary Arab cities of Rabat, Marrakesh and Fez and then crossing the spectacular Atlas Mountains to the Sahara and Berber desert. She customized the tour to our special interests and preferences. We especially appreciated how she ensured that my wife was able to eat gluten free by alerting restaurants in advance of our requirements.
Our guides for each location were personally selected by Alecia, having worked for her many times. They were without exception highly knowledgeable and engaging. Even our camel driver Ibrahim, who led our ride through the desert dunes, was a delight. Our personal driver was wonderful, taking personal responsibility for the overall success of each day. Far more than just a good driver, Ismail was informative in describing the villages, countryside and terrain we passed, always popped up with the car whenever we were ready to move on, and was enjoyable in conversation during the many hours we spent in the car together. He was highly attentive to our needs throughout the trip.
Overall, we can unequivocally recommend Travel Exploration Morocco, Alecia and her excellent team of drivers and guides. We enjoyed our Moroccan vacation highly.
