点评：I have to give one star so I am and that’s for the lady who served us, she was excellent but beyond that I hated this place so much.
When I go to a winery I expect it to feel pleasant and look nice and while this place is surrounded by lush beautiful countryside, the winery itself is a blot on the landscape, it looks like so dystopian futuristic hellscape. The wine tasting room tries to be cosy, making it look like you are inside a barrel, but in reality feels cold, dark and depressing.
Now I was expecting something very different, given the mention of Kunekune pigs and babydoll sheep, but apparently they are far, far away on the vast driving circuit. On top of this the wines were average at best and I would far rather support small independent wineries.
Definitely not for me, but it’s clearly very popular given all the positive reviews, so I am just giving an apposing view to show balance.
