We parked at the Visitors center, which is close to the bridge with access to the walk and viewing sites of the bridge, river and canyon. Saw two BASE jumps which was cool to see. The walk from the visitors center to the left is a short walk and stops at a city street. Headed right from the visitors center, is the longer walk, which we were told will go all the way to Shoshone Falls. We were told by an employee of the Visitors Center that is about four miles one way. The walk is in full sun after the bridge. We saw several people walk over from a shopping center parking lot to see the views. We did not walk the four miles to the falls. Dogs welcome, bring water for them in hot weather if you intend to walk and please make sure the walkway is not too hot for their paws. And pick up after your dog please.
