点评:This is a nice, inexpensive little museum providing a history of the local Lenape tribes. The day we went, the attendant in the gift shop, where everything starts and ends, was very nice, very personable and helpful.
For $7/person, the museum uses a paced audio tour with a handheld speaker device that has no way to use headphones. Therefore, the tours have to be spaced apart so the sounds of one doesn't interfere with the ones before or after. It also does not enable you to really peruse all of the displays and artifacts because the audio tour cannot be paused or stopped and moves you from one room to the next on its pace. This was the only drawback I found with what the museum is attempting to be.
Of course, spacing apart the tours may require you to wait, as we did, for other tourers to precede you. That waiting, of course, occurs in the gift shop. While that's a negative, the gift shop, itself, is actually pretty interesting with many items, mostly with a Native American theme, available for purchase, with many of them at a relatively reasonable price.
Accessible from the gift shop is another store that has three specific areas, one has a few more Native American themed items, upstairs is a Native American themed book store with, we were told, over 800 titles - that seemed to be accurate. The third section is a ski apparel store with a ski rental business in the basement. We bought a pair of skis there, maybe 15 years ago, and asked about it. We were told they only rent skis now, no more sales.
