Good educational experience, not worth the value though

点评：We visited recently and the staff were really friendly and welcoming, which was a nice start. There is definitely some interesting history here and a few powerful displays that really make you stop and think. However, the overall experience just wasn’t quite what we expected.
The layout was a bit confusing at times and we weren’t always sure where to go next or what was included in the ticket. Some areas or experiences seemed to be extra cost or not running on the day, which was disappointing, especially since we had travelled around 40 minutes to get there.
The main part of the museum is quite small, so it didn’t take long to get through, and I think it would be great if there was a bit more to see, especially outside. On the day we went, there was also a school group visiting. That’s nobody’s fault of course, but it did make it harder to move around and take everything in because the rooms felt crowded and a bit noisy.
There is a lot of information to read, and while it’s definitely educational, it might be better spaced out so visitors don’t feel rushed or cramped. We also found ourselves having to ask where to go and if that was it.
Overall, it’s a meaningful place to visit and I think it would be especially good for school groups or people really interested in the history. Personally I’m not sure I’d go back, but I do think there is potential for the experience to be improved with a few small changes.
