点评:This 245 meter high mountain above Wiesbaden is part of the Vortanus range. It features an historic funicular railway up from the city below and has a number of sights on the mountain. There is a tower with some type of restaurant on the ground floor, a green park, and even a swimming pool (named in honor of the German automobile manufacturer Wilhelm Opel). There is also a Russian Orthodox church a short hike away, but I did not tour the inside (there is a 3€ entrance fee). The highlight for me was the Neroberg Temple, which is a "monopteron" (a domed building with a single ring of exterior columns without any inside walls). It was being setup to be used for a wedding ceremony on the day that I visited. It makes for a fun afternoon, if you are feeling up for a little walk with some gorgeous views of Wiesbaden.
