点评:Don't often write reviews, but had to for this little gem. Operated by enthusiasts who work, or worked, in the local space industry - it is a petite museum which still manages to fit in many interesting exhibits - such as banana tablets that would have been eat by Ham, the spacecraft component that nearly killed Neil Armstrong (watch 'First Man' if you haven't already) and some light periscope-mounted erotica.
However what really made the experience was the engaging chap (Pat I think) who showed us around - who gave us a fast-paced, but detailed, potted history of the US space program and the underlying technologies whilst pointing out some absolute gems of artefacts that the space geek will love. He was also able to pitch what was being described to the audience.
It's a marked contrast to the experience you'll get at the KSC visitor centre (sorry - center) - which may have the big tin, but also feels a bit Disney at times. For my money this was a much more engaging experience which I would heartily recommend for any space geek.
