One small museum for man, one giant experience for space lovers
American Space Museum & Space Walk of Fame的点评
点评：I had an absolutely INCREDIBLE trip to the space museum! Typically, I go to KSC when I'm in Titusville, but I've seen this museum pop up several times on maps and it had so many positive ratings I decided to try it out. You can explore the entire thing on your own OR ask one of the lovely employees to walk you around. I didn't catch his name, but I had a nice gentleman take me through the exhibits from the Apollo era all the way to the shuttle era and he told me personal stories about the astronauts and their missions. He was soooo passionate about the history of the programs and all of the people involved.
The exhibits feature a large array of artifacts that were flown in space OR used as promotional items at the time of the flights (and the employees are well versed on the history of every item). My personal favorite exhibit was the Women In Space room. They have images of every woman sent into space from the first Russian Cosmonauts to current astronauts (they even have markers telling you which women are currently in space!!). While I was reading the fact sheets for each astronaut, a lovely woman came to ask how I was enjoying the exhibit and then gave me additional facts about a handful of the astronauts on display. She also told me stories of her meeting astronauts at KSC and asking questions so she'd be better prepared to answer guest questions at the American Space Museum! She was so sweet and had so many good stories- even though I only spoke with her for 30 minutes it made my trip so much better!
Their gift shop is small, but has a good selection of items! They even have several shelves of used books. When I was leaving, my tour guide ran into me again and he gave a handful of book recommendations and reasons for each!! Can't wait to come back here again!

他们的礼品店虽然不大，但商品种类丰富！甚至还有好几排书架摆放着二手书。离开的时候，我的导游又碰到了我，他向我推荐了几本书，并解释了每本书的推荐理由！我已经迫不及待地想再次来到这里了！
