点评：Our guide had originally set us up to go on the wild horse tour in a vehicle with a large group. However, there were not enough people for them to run the tour. They said they could only do it for ATVs. Say what? Oh heck yes. I had never ridden an ATV before and a motorcycle only a few times. But they provided a quick but detailed training session. After a few more couples showed up we were off.
We left the business site and rode just over a mile along city streets before heading off paved roads to gravel trails which lead up into the foothills of the nearby mountains. That's where the fun and beautiful views begin. The ride up the viewing area takes between 20 - 30 minutes and showcases the wild and rugged terrain where the horses make their home. We paused a while to allow another tour group to finish their time nearby the horses in their vehicle and then our guides took us closer to the herd.
The tour guides did a great job in showing us how we would get close to the horses (and the horses end up getting very close to you!) as well as time to take pictures in the scenic areas.
Overall, this was an unexpected and wonderful highlight to our Bosnian leg of our trip. I definitely recommend this if you find yourself in the area. We loved it!
