点评:(20th Dec) Can’t do this justice as I never got in, despite its website and an A frame board saying it was open! Walked around, no clues. Sat on the steps to gather my thoughts, heard voices approaching inside of the door, which then opened to release an English lady, and a clerical type who swiftly shut the door as I rose and said hello. (I was dressed fairly smartly too!). I asked the lady, who identified herself as a volunteer why it appeared to be shut, and she just talked AT me, failing to listen, just repeating that when there a concert on people had to go home early before coming back in. All I was trying to understand was why they’d left an ‘open ‘ sign up, hadn’t mentioned on their web page or FB channel that they were closing early, or even put up a blasted sign saying so! I was only there about five minutes, but at least four people arrived looking confused in that time…. and I’d walked from the far end of Valletta to visit.
Closing early to give volunteers a break, completely understandable.
Poor communication, pretty sloppy.
Unfriendly clerical- unforgivable.
