Cape Zanpa Lighthouse的点评
点评：While visiting Okinawa for the first time, my wife and I decided to add this destination to our itinerary. Especially since we had a rental car. It’s located about an hour’s drive from Naha off of Route 58. A few turns off the main route but we made it following Google Maps plus the GPS in the car rental. Seeing the lighthouse guided us as well.
The area surrounding the lighthouse is on a scenic bluff overlooking the ocean. There’s a few walking trails leading to a statue and to a small shrine like structure. The various rock formations along the bluff were a cool sight.
There’s a main path that leads to the lighthouse. It cost 300 Yen to enter and climb to the top. There’s a sign in Japanese that says there are 99 steps to the top. After climbing the very cramped and narrow stairs the prize was worth it! An amazing view of the surrounding area and of the ocean was waiting. The walkway platform circling the top of the tower offered a 360 degree breathtaking view. Not only scenic but kind of serene as well. Back at the bottom entrance area there’s like a mini museum with pictures and artifacts on display. There’s a large parking lot(s) so parking shouldn’t be a problem. There are public restrooms available, plus a snack bar.
It was a worthwhile visit and we were glad we made the trip. I read some previous reviews that were comparing it with Cape Manzamo…In my opinion both are worth visiting if you are able to! Cape Manzamo is about another 30 minutes further up the coast therefore this stop is along the way.

这次参观非常值得，我们很高兴去了。我读过一些之前的评论，比较了万座毛和万座毛……在我看来，如果时间允许的话，这两个地方都值得一游！万座毛沿着海岸线再往前走大约30分钟，所以这次的停留就在沿途。
