A nice day out but needs more maintenance

点评：We visited for the Easter activities this weekend. My children had a great time running around, enjoyed the egg trail and bubbles and the cake in the cafe was delicious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that despite paying £6 per adult and £2 per child to enter, nothing seemed “maintained”, particularly towards the bottom of the gardens it was quite over grown, full of weeds and nettles, big dips and holes in the floor. There’s no information to tell you anything about the statues and unfortunately on one of the metal sculptures, families were literally climbing on top of it and jumping up and down repeatedly. It’s understandable that there’s no one to supervise this (parents should be supervising their own children) but maybe the sculptures need signs near them explaining to keep off or a small metal fence around them as the sculpture was then dented and bent out of shape. There’s also no particular pathways which for us was no issue but if you have a pram it would be very difficult to get round.
