点评：We stay at Ponca every year in the cabins on Scout Hill Loop. We rent all of the cabins in the loop for a weekend. Two weeks ago, we found that one of the cabins had a really terrible smell. We got there late, so couldn't do anything until morning. When we went to inquire about the smell, we found out that this was a "known issue" that had been going on for several weeks, and that they were waiting for an HVAC expert. We were offered another cabin in another part of the park, but not until we complained. We did choose to stay with our family in Scout Hill Loop and kept the windows open and used the other cabins as much as possible. The draw for us is to have the loop for our entire family. We requested the manager give us a call back and expressed that some sort of refund would be appreciated. The cabins are not cheap! Never received a call after multiple requests. Very disappointing. We have always loved our annual trip and while we had a good time, we would have enjoyed not having a disgusting smell. If the issue was known, they should have told us beforehand and offered some sort of discount. We did choose to stay, but it would have been nice to have the option. It felt very underhanded to keep renting a cabin that smells like something died inside of it and not bother to tell the customer. I guess they were hoping for no complaints. I'm assuming no call is coming at this point. We did book for next year, hoping for the great experience next year that we have enjoyed for the past 14 years.
