点评：I was there for a wedding being held in the grounds, despite knowing that the wedding was taking place between 1-2pm someone in the grounds started using a chain saw which obliterated the celebrant and couple speaking their vows. They were clearly under staffed which meant lengthy waits at the bar and some of the staff were brusque to the point of rudeness. My room was large and comfortable but on trying to leave it after my nights stay the door key would not turn and I was trapped. There was no phone in the room to call reception, when I looked up the hotel online the number wasn’t on the website! I had to call a friend to go to reception. The member of staff was apologetic and helpful and said that some new keys had been cut but obviously not checked! The food was very average and breakfast mostly cold. It was hard to get the waitress to bring tea or coffee either in the right order or quantities. I feel they they are more focused on golf clients than those there for other reasons. Would not recommend and do not think at £180 per night it was good value for money.
