What a lovely place!

点评：I visited with a couple of Friends on a Monday afternoon in December. There was hardly anyone there, which was nice for us, but sad for Birdworld income.
The park its self isn’t massive. But took us several hours to go round. There’s lots to see, and some incredible birds there. It’s clear from talking to the staff we did that they are passionate about their work. Several play parks for young children, and trails and quizzes to do whilst you go round if you like that kind of thing. We only listened to one talk, in the Owl Academy, but it was very interesting.
There were some new areas in development which is good to see that they are investing in its future, and continuing the great work they do for all those lovely birds.
We finished off the afternoon with a nice hot chocolate in the cafe, and a browse in the gift shop. Would definitely return.
My only negative comment about the day, is the map we got of the park, wasn’t very good, and didn’t seem to be laid out as the park was. (And I’m quite good at reading maps!!!) It didn’t spoil the day though, and we ditched the map, and just explored.
