what a sad end to a wonderful attraction now a waste of time and money. rest in peace birdworld

点评：i have been visiting birdworld for over 20 years once or twice a year. but i am sorry to say yesterdays visit will be my last.
Birdworld use to be a wonderful peaceful day trip for me and my dear friend who is in a mobility scooter now.
yesterdays visit was to a building site with over half the park closed off to the visitor.
of the rest of the park the farm area always of great enjoyment to us both has been closed permanently and the land sold off many of the bird habitats are now boarded up or so overgrown inside you can not see anything with lots of potholes and uneven pavements not great for a mobility scooter or my 62 year old legs shameful.
the park will need to change its name when the building work is finished from birdworld to kids world as the kids play areas now being built will be bigger than the area with the birds in.
and with all the building work and constant noise which was so load it drowned the bird song out and all the closed sections they are still charging the same entry fee totally unforgivable and a rip off.
this was a lovely peaceful place to visit with just the sound of the birds calling around us
we use to sit on a seat just to take in the bird song and peacefulness around us
