Hidden gem with beautiful views

点评：Wow, what a beauty! The architectural design of the ruins is impressive. The details of the stone walls and arched ceilings are picturesque. It's amazing how thick the walls were and, no doubt, the reason it still remains today.
My toddler loved running around there and seeing the cows in the field adjacent to the Abbey. We then explored the gardens across the bridge, which are engaging yet relaxing, allowing you to reflect and take a break from day to day bustle.
After working up an appetite on the grounds, we stopped at the cafe for a bite. The staff were lovely, my son was coughing and they came and gave him a glass of water, despite there being cups and a tank for self-service. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the ginger cake, salmon bagel, and coronation chicken roll with coffee. There is hot and cold food/drinks available. The facilities are clean and stylish with indoor and outdoor seating.
