One Day Chianti Tour
Scenic wine tours in Tuscany的点评
点评：This was the perfect amount of touring and tasting. The tour went from 9:15-4:45 (hotel door to hotel door). Despite an entire day commitment Sergio’s mix of cellar doors, photo stops and great description of the surroundings meant the day went super quick. Sergio partners with boutique wineries and restaurants meaning we had an intimate experience with owners, wine makers and chefs.
Sergio picked us up in a spacious, clean and smooth ford transit van. He drove the windy Chianti roads in such a manner that the mixture of wine and challenging roads had no negative impact on the passengers.
Chianti itself was stunning and paired with both Sergio’s and the cellar doors expert commentary meant we all came away with a great deal of knowledge on what makes a Chianti Classico.
The tour itself consisted of 1 tasting - followed by lunch and wine - bookended with another tasting. When I say tasting I mean - full glasses of wine, very generous pours.
Many thanks again for our super host - Sergio! His patience with a group who asked all sorts of weird and wonderful questions such as where do Tuscany’s cows come from, to do you say “per favore” when ordering a coffee or can we go through Maccas!
I strongly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a Tuscan winery experience.
