格林费德村的点评
点评：An absolute cracking day at Greenfield Village. So much to see & the staff are so informative. At the craftworks it would have been nice to see some activity in the glass shop & printing office but there was a girl doing a demonstration in the weaving shop.
For an extra cost you can purchase an all day village ride pass & take a whirl around the village in a Model T, on the steam train, ride the bus or horse drawn carriage or a spin around on the carousel. I did see that single ride tickets were available for the carousel but not sure about the others.
I didn’t have a bite to eat but there are a couple places to do so. I was mighty tempted to have a sit down & cream tea at the Cotswold Cottage.
Items made in the Liberty Craftworks are available for purchase in the Greenfield Village store.
Tickets can be purchased online at a discounted price. A $10 parking fee is automatically added to the cost.
If I lived in Detroit it would be a place that I would definitely have a membership to.
