Musée Massena的点评
点评：An exquisite villa overlooking the Promenade des Anglais (& the Med!) Once a residence of the Nice nobility - the Massena d'Essling family...sold to Nice by Andre Massena stipulating that it should be a museum. Some rooms are recreated giving a sense of the musee as a home and venue, there are two staggering murals at the top of the grand staircase showing the members of the Massena family too.
There are lots of Napoleon artifacts including a death mask created by British surgeon Archibald Arnott. Really, the museum is a treasure trove, I loved the 'Nice, my city, my gardens' exhibition showcasing the iconic plants, gardens and parks of the city. Loved the photos, art & maps showing the development of Nice as a resort (and the importance of the Brits!) and was particularly interested in La jetee promenade, the amazing (demolished) belle epoque pier...great model and another made of Lego!
Everything in French, rather standoffish staff, ticket office in a separate building in the Rue de France, usually 10 euros entrance but for some reason I got a free ticket...just took it, didn't ask any questions!!! Would recommend this as a 'must visit' while in Nice.

所有说明都是法文，工作人员有些冷淡。售票处设在法国街上的一座独立建筑里。通常门票价格为10欧元，但不知为何我得到了免费门票……我就直接接受了，也没多问什么！！！强烈推荐来尼斯游玩时一定要参观这里。
