Trans Balkan Tours Cancelled my private tour because I didn’t want to stop at their carpet shop!

点评：Made arrangements for a private tour of Ephesus with Denizhan at Trans Balkan Tours since we were going to be in Kusadasi for the day on a cruise ship.
After booking the tour and agreeing to pay in cash upon arrival, I let Denizhan know we would like to stop for lunch on the full day trip but did NOT want the ‘free authentic Turkish lunch’ which was included in the tour because the ‘free lunch’ was at a carpet store, where you are of course hounded to purchase carpets and rugs. I indicated we would pay for our own lunch and did not want any ‘shopping’ stops included in our day.
At that point I received an email stating they were actually fully booked for the day and my tour was now cancelled.
Read other reviews about unscheduled and unwanted ‘shopping’ stops included in your private tour and if this is not what you want for your limited time in port, book your private tour elsewhere!
I would avoid this SHADY outfit at all cost.
