Cayce and Wyatt made our bike ride a great experience

点评：My husband and I knew we wanted to ride bikes around perimeter of the island because someone with a family recommended it. Since we stayed at the Island House Hotel, it was convenient to just walk to the Island House Bike Shop and rent our bikes. Cayce and Wyatt helped us locate the bikes that best fit us. I am short so I decided I needed a kids bike and it worked for me. The bike shop carries kids bikes, cruisers, trikes, mountain bikes and speed bikes. We opted for the 7 speed bikes which Cayce and Wyatt recommended for us. ( If you are riding on the interior roads, you will need a bike that changes speeds to make it up the steep hills. Cruisers will not get you there.)The kid bikes do not come with baskets but I had a cross body purse and my husband had the adult bike that came with a basket.
We enjoyed the ride around the island. It was mainly bicyclists and we started at the end instead of the beginning. By going in reverse, we had few people on our side of the rode. There were several places to pull over and enjoy the scenery. About half way around the island is a place with restrooms, a place to get water and pick up food and picnic tables.
