点评：Worst experience ever. Arranged to charter a boat with a captain 2 weeks in advance. Owner Jill McKenna recommended Baird as the best captain for us. (Later learned that he is her son.) Had a few calls with Baird in the days before the charter trying to figure out the best pick-up point. He finally texted me the night before to say we should meet him at Moon Dunes Beach. I attempted calling and texting him several times the morning of the charter to clarify the pickup point. He didn't answer, but I assumed maybe he was on the water and didn't hear his phone. We arrived at the spot 10 minutes in advance and waited & waited but he never showed and still wasn't answering his phone. Texted with Jill who said she would call him & call me right back. When she hadn't called 15 minutes later, I texted her again. She said she couldn't get in touch with Baird or his girlfriend. Said "this is just awful" and said she would try to see if there was another captain & boat nearby. When she hadn't called back in 10 minutes, I texted that we had to leave and expected a full refund, to which she replied "Absolutely. I'm so sorry." Not only did she never refund us, she ghosted me when I attempted to reach her after that to inquire about it. Disputed it through American Express, and she told them WE were the ones who no-showed. Still going through the dispute process to get our $1500 back (it's been over 2 months now). Absolutely NEVER use this company! After this happened, I checked reviews online -- and most all of them are similar to mine. I obviously should have checked them before booking with Jill McKenna, Baird McKenna and Tahoe Family Adventures.
