Carlisle Racecourse的点评
点评：I had never taken kiddos to the races before and we were all looking forward to the experience. They were mid teenagers. The area was lovely, and it wasn't raining which was a bonus. We first had a look around and it wasn't easy to work out what was what, where the food areas where etc. we settled on the BBQ food. We couldn't have been more disappointed. £7.50 for a burger which was cold and hard. So we paid over £40 for our food which was pretty inedible. They need to sort that out.
We then proceeded to watch the races. We were right by the white fence and kept standing there throughout. I went for four drinks three cans and a bottle of water which came to just under £10. This is a lot for cans and water.
The racing was fantastic and a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the commentary and the surroundings. Toilet were clean and well kept as was the area. Staff constantly picking up litter, which was great.
We spent well over £120 on entry and food and drink which is not accessible to most families we were there till after he third race..we didn't have any winners so we went home then. We had a great few hours. Disabled parking was it available. There were a few cars parking In the ♿ with no badges. Either forgetting to display or not realising. Anyway, may go again but not on family day.
