A must-do in Westray

点评：We had a day to spend in Westray without a car, and after seeing Westraak recommended by a few people, we decided to let them show us around.
The day started with Karen and Andy picking us up at the ferry terminal. We then went to see puffins and we managed to get up close with a few even though many of them were out fishing. We then went to their cosy house and had coffee, tea and nibbles in their living room, while chatting about all things Westray. We then went to see the lighthouse and cliffs with lots of birds. We then dropped Karen off at their house to cook lunch and Andy took us to see the castle, giving us a good tour of it. By this point we were all hungry so we drove back to the house to have a generous lunch in their living room. We then went to see some breathtaking rock formations and views, as well as Quoygrew. We then drove to see seals and on to the museum in Pierowall, the entrance to which was included. At the end of it, they dropped us off at our accommodation and everyone else to the ferry to end the day.
The price of this was very well worth it and the day was a great success, so I would strongly recommend visiting Westray with them if you can. Make sure to book well in advance as they can get fully booked.
