点评：We managed to get in late on a Sunday afternoon preceding a week in which the park was closed for farming (they ARE a real farm, after all). What an experience! Really cool setting, with commanding views of Queenstown, Frankton, the Remarkables and up and down the lake. A bit of a bumpy drive, but well worth it. ...and that's just the views. At any given time, you'll also see any number of fauna, wandering around close by, on the hills and on the roads. Pigs, goats, donkeys, deer, sheep, highland cows, etc. And also the odd forlorn LOTR extra still searching for the movie set. 4-footed creatures generally are very cute, but some pretty persistent at being fed. The park offers a feed dispenser that takes $2 coins and feed pails (But PLEASE read the signs on which ones you can feed and which you shouldn't). A real experience for an hour or two. You need to reserve a spot and pay using their online portal, and provide your car rego number. They have a set capacity each day. But worth considering. A semi-kept secret.
