点评：Getting the ferry to Vancouver Island is a wonderful way to travel. To get to the ferry terminal in Tsawwassen I was travelling from Downtown Vancouver and it was fairly straight forward. I got the Canada Line to Bridgeport and then got the bus to the ferry terminal. It was a Friday afternoon when I travelled so the bus service was very popular.
Arriving at the ferry terminal it was easy to get a ticket as a foot passenger and it was only $20 for a single which considering the journey time I found this to be great value.
Once on the ferry it was a lovely journey across the water and we wove our way past lots of tiny islands with houses on them.
I spent most of the time on the deck as the weather was lovely but there are lots of facilities on the boat including a cafe, gift shop and plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the view.
All the staff were very friendly and professional and safety was high on their list of priorities.
