点评：Yes, it's a long drive on unpaved roads to get there. No, you don't absolutely need a 4WD to get there; we drove this in a little Kia Stonic. Take it slow and stay within your abilities, and you should be fine. Views are remarkable almost the whole way out. Yes, there are clearly marked public restrooms just a few kilometers before the end of the road and the cliffs.
We made it to the cliffs on a sunny day in late July. Fun fact: This is the furthest point west in all of Europe. Next stop across the water is Greenland! Most of the puffins had left by this point in the season, but there were thousands of other birds. The walk along the cliffs is lovely, if a bit rugged at times. Bring good hiking shoes. We took many lovely pictures, much like the ones already posted here. I walked further on, while my wife went back and did more bird watching. She did finally see one lone puffin and got a couple of nice photos of it.
I think this is a fun and intriguing destination for the adventurous. If you don't life rough roads or ocean views from atop the cliffs, well, it may not be for you. But we found it worth the drive.
