Beautiful place. Shocking behaviour by the unprofessional receptionist.

点评：Beautiful place. Spoilt immediately by an unhelpful and unfriendly reception female (short hair and glasses). My first ever poor review for anything in Switzerland! Visiting with friends who live here and regularly visit Stockhorn during the whole year and they recommend this as a visit. They know that I am an active cold water swimmer and swim all year around and they also swim here in warmer months. Everywhere is written online that you can swim and just that boating is restricted on either lake. There are no signs to say swimming is not allowed. I mentioned about going to the middle station and made the unfortunate share of mentioning swimming as I was so looking forward to it. This female who had already looked up from her desk and didn’t even acknowledge someone wanting to buy a ticket and only after waiting for a while did she come to the windows. She was unfriendly immediately! When I said about swimming - she stared at me with a scowl, then turned to her colleagues and started laughing and said to me it’s forbidden - which is of course untrue. I understand not everyone likes cold water swimming but it’s a regular hobby of mine and many others and we safely train for this. At absolutely no time would there any reason for someone to behave like this. She then carried on laughing and making fun - as if to shame! Really unnecessary behaviour and extremely inappropriate in a customer service setting - let alone any social setting. Bullying of any kind is not to be tolerated. I was so shocked with this horrible behaviour and bad information too. The rest of the staff were fine and helpful but it did spoil it for me as I didn’t feel I could swim and being treated that way was appalling. If I was a manager and had seen and heard that - I would be taking action. Especially after spending 55 Swiss francs for the cable car and parking and driving a distance to get here.
