点评：We visited Bob’s Farm today with our kids and paid $258 for just shy of an hour and I honestly left feeling upset and shocked. The place absolutely stunk!!. Many of the aquariums were clearly dirty and absolutely filthy, and the reptiles did not look like they were being kept in appropriate conditions. I honestly don’t know what we paid for.
The large crocodile, in particular, is confined to a space that is far too small. It’s unacceptable for an operation charging this much to neglect enclosure standards like that. I’m so glad we didn’t pay the $220 for the kids to swim with the crocs as I can promise you they wouldn’t have step foot in the water. I did ask the guy how long the crocodile enclosure has been open for and he said only 2 weeks. This shocked me as the conditions are appalling for only two weeks.
I also couldn’t believe how they would allow kids to swim in those waters given what we saw today. It felt unsafe, filthy and incredibly poor conditions. I have never been to a place where I have ever thought a place should be shut down. Below are photos of the turtle enclosure that we paid extra to feed the turtles. You can only imagine our faces when we walked in.
This is not what families expect, and it’s certainly not fair to the animals/ reptiles. Management needs to take responsibility and fix these welfare issues immediately. It’s way over priced for the conditions we saw today. This place seriously needs to be shut down or needs to be under new management where they care for the welfare of families and the reptiles.
