I wanted to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday with her and my family in an unusual way. After searching for something different to do, I thought a llama hike might be fun. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the experience far exceeded my expectations.
What a wonderful, educational and relaxing afternoon we spent with David Wynn, our guide and the savior of these lovely animals.. David’s connection with the llamas was evident when we arrived and he immediately put us at ease, teaching us how to guide our llamas. His calm, gentle, intelligent and thoughtful way of educating our group made the experience that much more enjoyable. His knowledge of the animals and the forest was vast and he was happy to share what he knew. The llamas themselves were a joy to be with, each having its own distinct personality. This was a unique and wonderful experience, not to be missed if you’re in the Hot Springs or Asheville area. Thank you, David, for a wonderful afternoon and for allowing us to bond with you and your beautiful llamas. You are a kind soul and deserve all good things in life Thank you for giving us memories our family will always cherish and for rescuing these awesome creatures. They are lucky to have you!
