点评：Brenda is an INCREDIBLE tour guide. She welcomed us to Edinburgh and after we settled in, drove and guided us through Stirling Castle, Oban, Isles of Mull & Skye, Glencoe and finally to Braemar.
She navigated the roads with excellent skill and a bit of humor through some white knuckling roads. Brenda provided various comforts along the way to enhance our experiences.
She joined us on some bog hikes which were some of our most favorite excursions. Her advice on the 'midges' was spot on and she prepared us with the proper netting and spray.
Brenda is delightful, knowledgable, and able to wind her way through the occasional travel modifications that needed to be done on the fly with grace, charm and skill. She dropped us off to take a pedestrian ferry only and she proceeded to drive about four hours to reconnect with us.
Her hotel and restaurant recommendations were phenomenal. Cases in point:
1. Our waterfront seating at a delicious restaurant in Oban had fantastic views at sunset. A pleasant surprise Brenda had not told us about.
2. The restaurant in Braemar somehow did not have our reservation in their records. We showed them our copy of the confirmation and they accommodated us in a private dining room that could have seated twelve! We were treated like royalty!
3. Our Glencoe hotel was right on the West Highland Way and made our hiking wishes as easy as walking out the front door.
If you are planning a trip to Scotland, Brenda is a joy to work with and she is skilled in designing the trip you envision to meet your needs. Our trip was quite memorable and beyond our expectations.
