点评：Our visit to Burbujas de Altura was, without exaggeration, one of the most memorable wine experiences we’ve ever had.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredible warmth by Andrés and his family. There is a genuine kindness and hospitality here that immediately sets the tone — this isn’t a scripted tasting, it’s an invitation into something deeply personal.
What makes Burbujas so special is its boutique, almost artisanal nature. This is not a large-scale winery; it’s a small, thoughtfully crafted project that stands apart from everything else in Cafayate. The story behind it — drawing on Andrés’ Norwegian roots and his professional experience working in Champagne, France — comes through beautifully in both the philosophy and the wines.
The tasting itself was exceptional. Andrés guided us through each step with care and passion, creating an experience that felt completely tailored to us. It wasn’t just about drinking wine — it was about understanding the process, the challenges of making sparkling wine at altitude, and the vision behind what they are building. It felt less like a tasting and more like a conversation that unfolded over great wine.
And the wines absolutely deliver. The sparkling wines are outstanding — precise, elegant, and clearly crafted with deep knowledge and dedication to adhering to the techniques that make the greatest champagnes stand out.
