We were incredibly fortunate to be guided by the founder himself, James Mwenda (Jemu). It’s immediately clear that he is building his company on a foundation of strong ethics, deep respect for wildlife, and a genuine passion for the unique cultures and landscapes of Kenya.
Jemu’s route into conservation began through his work at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where he served as a ranger and later as one of the dedicated caretakers of Sudan, the last male northern white rhino. This extraordinary background shines through in every part of the journey.
Booking a safari with Jemu is far more than just a wildlife tour - it’s an immersive and meaningful experience, led by someone whose respect for nature comes from the heart. His knowledge, compassion and storytelling make every moment unforgettable.
