点评：What was supposed to be a self-guided 21-day bike trip in Western Australia unexpectedly transformed into an 8-day liveaboard kayak journey in Fiji and I couldn’t have been happier with the change of plans. Having never done an organised adventure before, I thought I knew what to expect, but this trip was far more exhilarating than I imagined.
Each day was the perfect mix of kayaking, snorkelling, the occasional hike/scramble as well as time spent laughing and chatting with new friends. The itinerary struck that rare balance of being full, fun and adventurous without ever feeling rushed.
Our guide, Kate, was nothing short of incredible. She’s a true adventurous spirit with a deep knowledge of Fiji, always generous in sharing it with our very inquisitive group. She involved us in decision making along the way, helping us shape our own journey. It made the experience extra special and more meaningful.
The crew aboard the boat were equally wonderful. We were greeted with constant smiles, endless warmth and genuine hospitality. No request ever felt like too much, and they even helped us attempt to watch the AFL Grand Final despite the patchy connection. I wasn't too upset in the end as my team lost :(
By the time day eight arrived, I genuinely didn’t want to leave. I could have kept exploring the Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands for much longer. A huge thank you to the entire SSV team - especially Kate for being a phenomenal guide and Alex all the phone calls and fitting me in last minute after my holiday plans shifted.
Can't wait to get out there again on another adventure with SSV!
