What a find and so close to home. Exercise, learning, beer and food. What’s not to like.

点评：What a fabulous experience we had today being shown round the hop vines and learning about how hops are grown and processed to make the beers. Our guide Chris Lovett, was informative and knowledgeable. He made the tour interesting and fun, sharing with us pictures of how hops were processed in the past which helped highlight the differences in the farming processes now.
It is a working farm so had to be mindful of the staff and working vehicles.
We went through all the processes, walked through the vines to learn about the different types that are grown there. Learnt how the vines are grown and harvested. Smelt the different vines and learnt what parts of the vines are used.
At the end of the tour, we had a tasting session in the Tap Room where we could put our new knowledge to the test to see if we could pick out the different flavours of the hops. Really made a good end to the tour.
It was such a lovely evening that we decided to have a meal and was again treated to some tasty meals.
We have lived in Ashford for years and didn’t know that this lovely place was so near.
If you fancy something different and like beer, it is a go to place. Very reasonable price for the experience too. Thank you again Chris.
