Don Rafa Adventure Tours的点评
点评：I was a little nervous because they charged less than the other places, but it seemed like they own the property and other companies just go through them.
I wonder if the other places charge more to cover fancy internet pages, lots of signage around town and other advertising expenses. They also seemed to have nicer trucks and fancy (less bulky) life vests. Other company(ies) have property off the main road with nice bathrooms and changing stalls. We tried to drive to Don Rafa but our 2x4 wouldn't have made it. NEED 4X4, even if dry! They were able to send a jeep up to get us.
Maybe other companies' guides speak better English than ours? Although our guide, Jonathan, said he didn't speak much, ours seemed to communicate just fine when I wasn't practicing my Spanish! He gave us good advice about beating the crowds. He seemed to really enjoy stopping and offering to take photos (and videos) of us. I didn't specifically request a private tour, but it was just the 3 of us.
Highly recommend starting tour before 8/8:30 to beat the crowds. Also, we wore hiking gear over swimsuits but never took off outerwear. Others were just wearing swimsuits. We packed snacks but didn't have time and didn't need them. I was afraid of blisters so wore wool socks under water hiking shoes, figuring I'd take them off when we got to the waterfall, but they were already wet from river crossing and we didn't really stop and "set up" at the waterfall. My kiddo was fine with water shoes.
Brought hat and sunglasses but took off at waterfall. Guide put in dry bag for us and ended up carrying back to starting point so turns out I hadn't really even needed to bring them. We used bug repellent before starting but didn't actually notice bugs (April).

我带了帽子和太阳镜，但到了瀑布就摘掉了。导游帮我们装进了防水袋，最后还帮我们带回了出发点，所以看来我其实根本没必要带。出发前我们用了驱蚊剂，但实际上并没有看到虫子（四月份）。
