Petworth House and Park的点评
点评：My wife and I have been to Petworth several times before and have always enjoyed the experience.
This time we went to see a special celebration of the British landscape artist J.M.W.Turner who had close ties to the place.
As always the staff were very helpful indeed and could not do enough to make our visit memorable.
There is a fairly steep and lengthy hill from the car park to the house itself and, since I am often obliged to use a mobility scooter, I would have found this difficult to say the least. There is, however, transport laid on for just this purpose and the driver of this was extremely helpful and pleasant. He assisted me in getting my scooter on and off the buggy and dropped us at the door of the house.
The first thing we did was have a coffee in the well appointed café before going to see the exhibition itself.
I have long been a great admirer of Turner's work and was not disappointed at all.
We then went on to see the rest of the house and, as usual, enjoyed it thoroughly. We find the volunteer staff always informative and friendly.
Finally, we went for a light meal in the cafe before making our way back home.
All in all Petworth House is a very worthwhile day out and I thoroughly recommend it.
