The Royal International Air Tattoo的点评
点评：Was really looking forward to this show , I booked the day after it closed in 2024 , I opted for 4 adult tickets ( nowhere it said 17 and under are free when I booked so wasted £40 on my youngest sons ticket) .
On booking there was no onside parking option so opted for Cheltenham race course park and ride ( free) however a 20 mile journey took 2 hours due to poor traffic management! .
Also at point of booking for day 1 Friday did it point out that the display is shortened by 3. 5 hours but still same price as the Saturday and Sunday tickets.
The weather was great on Friday and we did enjoy the aircraft however, the lack of actual display was disappointing, of what was displayed only 1 aerobatics display team ( the red arrows performed) spitfires displayed twice within a very short timescale , a couple of aircraft had technical issues the wedgetail didnt even take off and the typhoon came in early , also the F35B lighting flew past once then hovered then went back to its base , even though there was a static display ,people come and pay to see these machine fly , one could look at a book which costs nothing !
All in all I wouldn't attend again as I feel this wasn't value for money , especially when badged as one of the best airshows .
