点评：I recently travelled to Rome,Italy and took the tour named Classical Rome run by Civita Tours.
The reason I am writing this message is relative to the meeting instructions as follows:
Upon debarkation, please take one of the free shuttle services to the meeting point. The ride should take about 10 to 15 minutes. Your coach will be in the car park at Largo della Pace, just opposite of the fire brigades station ( Vigili del Fuoco) Your guide from Civitatours will be waiting for you in the meeting area. They will be wearing yellow and holding a Civitatours sign. Please plan to be at the designated departure location at least 15 minutes before your departure time listed above.
Now imagine that you arrived at this specific location 30 minutes before the departure time and waited for someone to show up. These instructions are too specific and fortunately, because I thought they were wrong we didn’t miss the tour. However, one employee yelled with a dismissive attitude, oh well, you missed it. When I stated that the instructions were wrong, they told me to go to the Civita Tours booth. I found someone directing people to a bus and luckily we made the tour. I know that this isn’t an isolated incident because another man did the same thing and almost missed his bus.
I suggest the instructions be written as follows:
Take the free shuttle bus to Largo Della Pace. Walk to the Civitatours booth to wait for instructions for the bus. DO NOT LEAVE THE BUS TERMINAL.
The present instructions lead people out of the bus terminal.
The second suggestion is related to the tour guide. We arrived at Vatican City and wasted 30 minutes rounding up people to go to the washroom. The tour could suggest that everyone use the facilities at the bus terminal, so that time is not wasted in a very busy and hectic section of Rome. We actually lost two people on this tour.
