Cannot believe John Lewis put their name to the Northern Lights Display

点评：We went to the Northern Lights Display last night as a family. I had read the negative reviews but gave them no mind. I wish I had. We wrapped up warm, wellies on, as we had read it could be muddy and with the rain this was expected. When you first entered there was food and drink places and a few fairground rides which included a ferris wheel. I thought this was nice until you looked at the prices of the food, I paid £10 for a flat white and hot chocolate, not from the Hotel Chocolate stand and £9 for a bratwurst in a baguette roll not so fresh and a scattering of crispy onions. My son purchased two beef burgers, one chips and a soft drink, it was £30. We wouldn’t mind if it was worth the money but it was not. On entering the light show they were selling flashing light wands, so as any child would want one, we bought our grandson one which was just the outline of Mickey Mouse, it was £13. Now for the light show, I was expecting great things as it costs £23.95 per ticket for an adult and £5.95 to park. The light show was nothing spectacular for the costs of the ticket. The lights were nothing more than LEDS and fibre optics stuck in the ground, a couple of bee holograms in another area and smoke machine in one area making it difficult to see where you were walking on uneven ground and some lasers. This was an expensive day out for nothing more than a deflated let down of what you would have expected especially from a name like John Lewis and the price of the tickets. I would say save your money and look elsewhere to have a fun day out with your family. I would not recommend this experience to anybody.
