Visit in the morning, wear good shoes.

点评：My daughters and I visited Acrocorinth while staying in Corinth, about a 15 minute drive away. We passed the ruins of ancient Corinth along the way, and snapped some photos of the Temple of Apollo.
We arrived bright and early around 8:30, and were the first ones there. There wasn’t anyone at the entrance booth, and so figured that entrance was free, this early in the season.
The ruins are mainly comprised of the fortifications and a few scattered buildings, and are sprawling. The rounded paving stones are slippery, worn by the passage of millions of feet, and so good shoes are essential.
We made a beeline for the Frankish tower, at the top. It was a bit of a hike, but the views were amazing. We thought we could enter and climb onto the top of the tower, where we glimpsed some railings, but once inside, found that egress to the roof was blocked by a plexiglass barrier.
Next, we checked out the Peirene Spring. We descended the narrow steps into the darkness and took some photos, before scrambling out to escape a swarm of insects we had disturbed.
We spent a couple of hours exploring, but skipped the Sanctuary of Aphrodite. The ruins are less impressive than Mystras, for example, but castle buffs will enjoy the visit. Others, perhaps less so
