点评：Visited this winery while out for a drive. My husband had previously sampled a bottle of their wine whilst out for a meal, and we were interested in its origins. The vineyard is a small, family-run business and an absolute Cypriot delight. The whole experience was fantastic...and I didn't even drink the wine. There's an extremely interesting wine museum and an ancient cellar to explore as well as a fully-stocked shop for gifts, snacks, and other delights.
The wine-tasting experience is inexpensive but worth every penny and gives a real insight into the quality of their produce. They explain the origin of each wine and are extremely passionate and proud of their produce... and rightly so.
Homemade bread, hummus, and olives are served as part of the tasting experience, but there are other snacks and drinks available to purchase, so the designated driver does not miss out. Bottles of wine are reasonably priced, and larger purchases get discount.
If you are looking for an interesting and enjoyable way to spend a few hours, head to the hills and to Sterna Winery.
You will not be disappointed.
