点评：Having been big fans of the BBC documentary series Kangaroo Dundee for many years, we could not come to the Red Centre and not visit the Kangaroo Sanctury.
Currently tours of the sanctuary are only done on three days of the week and sell out quickly, so early booking via the web is advised and you will probably have to structure your stay in Alice around the day you can visit like we had to do.
But it is well worth it as the experience is quite magical. The tour is given by Brolger, the man himself, who comes across exactly as he does in the TV series and his enthusiasm for saving baby Kangaroos is infectious.
Yes, you get to cuddle a Joey and possibly bottle feed a young one, but for fans of the TV series it is the whole package and experience of walking around the sanctuary, which includes visiting the red corrugated iron hut where it all started and the memorial to the famous Roger.
Brolger and his colleagues are doing a great job and deserve our patronage and I hope the forthcoming film is a success for the sanctuary.
